15 states included in ground coffee recall due to mislabeling error

Thousands of ground coffee packages that are sold in 15 states are called for a wrong name error, according to the food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The summons, which affects 692 cases of Family Foods Ground, began on March 13. FDA ranked the accident as a second -class summons on Monday.

In total, 4,152 bundles are included 12 ounces of Cherry Cherry Cherry Cherry Cherry Cherry Cherry coffee.

According to the FDA, coffee may not be coated at all, which poses a danger to consumers who seek to avoid caffeine.

The summons only affects the products called “Best before 080325 V 15:37 C,” according to the FDA page. The bags also had the UPC icon from 0 70253 11080 1.

The second -class recovery operations include products “may cause temporary and reflective health consequences, or when the possibility of serious, long, distant health consequences.”

Ground coffee was sold in Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota and Norto Carolina, as well as North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wesconine Wyoming.
