New Jersey man in MAGA hat refused service at NYC cafe on 9/11

A man from New Jersey says he was deprived of service and insulted him by Parista at the New York City Café after walking in the Maga hat on the morning of September 11.

Anthony Police, 31, stopped at the Coffee Café in New York City in the financial area on his way to the Memorial party September 11 in Garand Zero. He was wearing a hat “Make America Great again”, along with a picture of his late father, Edward Police, installed on the pocket of his shirt.

His father worked in the southern tower of the World Trade Center and killed on September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. His family attended the annual ceremony in the lower Manhattan every year, according to Asbury Park Press for the first time.

Anthony Fox News told Digitter that when he entered the café, Barista looked at him and said: “There is no service.”

Initially, I think the store may not be open yet. But after checking the published hours and watching other customers leaving with drinks, he believed that the rejection was linked to his hat.

“We were like, well, this is ridiculous,” Police said.

His friend, Michael Antonucci, who was with him, urged him to go elsewhere, saying that the work was not worth his money. But Polis felt that he had to stand at home, especially after the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kerk the day before.

“I felt the fire inside me,” he said, and he felt like a retreat would be the opposite of what Kirk will do.

Police Fox News Digitter told that he was not wearing the political hat on September 11, in respect of the victims. But he decided to wear it that morning to show support to Kirk.

“I thought it would be appropriate, and I could respect him in this way,” Police said.

Kirk, founder of Turning Point Usa, was shot while speaking at the University of Utah, Orem, Utah, the previous day. He was 31 years old and left behind his wife Erika and two young children.

Police returned to the cafe with the family’s friend Tommy Smith, a retired firefighter in Long Island, and his father, a firefighter in New York City, died in Garand Safar on 9/11. Smith, wears a full extinguishing costume, a student to present the two.

He complied with the Parista, but he refused to answer police when he asked why he was deprived of this earlier.

“I really wanted to know the reason,” Police said, adding that no one else in the store was quietly addressed.

Police said that Bell dealt with the situation “appropriately and professionally” and assured him that the matter was being addressed. But he was frustrated by behavior, especially on the hateful day.

“This has never happened,” he told Fox News Digital. “But all days, September 11 should be the last day … I had a picture of my father installed on my shirt. We were literally buildings from the World Trade Center site.”

The Grumpy Café did not return immediately a request for comment.

The accident comes after a virus Tiktok video clip, asking Starbucks Barista, refused to write the name Charlie Kirk on a cup. Kirk’s fans have been ordering his favorite drink in the chain in honoring since his death on September 10.
