Kamala Harris stays in the game as the former VP mulls next step: Washington or Sacramento?

Former Vice President Kamala Harris moved to social media this month for joy on the increasing resistance by President Donald Trump’s Democrats.
“Today in every state around our nation, the Americans stand in front of the administration,” Harris wrote.
The goal of Trump’s most obvious and richest consultant in the world – Elon Musk – former Vice President stressed that “the voices of workers will always be higher than unaccounted billionaires.”
Harris, in a possible blemish of possible future political plans, was highlighted on social media, a clip of the closing line of a speech earlier this month.

Harris said, “I see you there.”
Earlier this year, Harris pledged, in a video message to the National Democratic Committee because it gathered on its winter meeting, with the party “every step on the road”.
But five months after the loss of the presidential elections to Trump, Harris’s public appearances are still few and far.

Unlike her running colleague in 2024 – the governor of Minnesota Tim and Laz – and other Democrats, did not appear in the gatherings or city halls to address the base of the Democratic Party directly and increase it increasingly due to the Trump and controversial increase in the federal government during the first three months of its second tour of the White House.
Harris also avoided any television interviews or sharing in any podcast, and gave up the spotlight for others at the party.
But every general word is rapidly dissected.

“I am not here to say that I told you that,” Harris said on April 3 in Dana Point, California.
The clip, by which Harris and the crowd set out, immediately went viral.
There is severe speculation about what may be the next political step for Harris.
Two potential options launch a Ruler operation Next year in California, in the race to succeed in the governor of the state, Gavin Gavin, or seek the presidency again in 2028.
Very early opinion polls in the upcoming presidential nomination race – which relies heavily on recognition of the name at this stage – indicates that the former vice president has great progress on other potential White House competitors.
Trump’s best ally raises a California ruler if Harris is running
It is unlikely to do both. Running and winning the elections in 2026 as a ruler Blue Blue California, The allies and political analysts pointed out that the country’s most populated country and population for the fifth largest economy in the world is likely to take the White House in 2028 from the table.
Harris previously served as the Prosecutor in San Francisco and California’s General County, and he represented Golden State in the US Senate before joining the ticket of former President Joe Biden for the year 2020 and won the elections as a vice president.
A source in the former political orbit of Fox News Digital confirmed that Harris told the allies that it would be decided by the end of the summer regarding the launch of a trial campaign. The news was first reported by Politico.
But other Democrats in California are not waiting, as the ruler grows.
Some candidates criticize Harris to wait until the summer to decide. Among them is the former mayor of Los Angeles Anotonio Velaregosa.
“The challenges facing California are very big for us to wait for a candidate who wants to come late in the game,” Villarigosa, who launched his campaign for 2026 last summer, told the Los Angeles Times. “California is not a step to the highest position.”
“This will not be the culmination,” he said in his interview. She pointed to the three and a half months of Harris’s presidential campaign-Biden as a party candidate after he dropped his attempt last July-Velaregosa said, “You cannot run at the end of the rainbow. We saw a 100-day campaign. Look at us.”
Two other Democrats who nominated California – former MP Katie Porter and former Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services, such as Zafel Bikira – presented similar arguments.
But opinion polls indicate that Harris will be the first clear candidate if she enters the 2026 race in California, and the other candidates already in this field indicated that they will postpone the former vice president if it ends up.
One of these candidates who is likely to fall off is the governor of California State Elliny Konalakis, an intimate friend and ally of the former president.
