Trump also canceled the current and visible contracts that focused on Dei’s initiatives, with Elon Musk, who heads the Ministry of Government efficiency (DOGE), saying that this step saved the federal government $ 420 million.

The President also issued two other executives on that day targeting Dei.

“The illegal and discriminatory diversity, fairness, and employment (Dei), including sweat, sex, disability, or any other criteria other than the safety of passengers and general job excellence, efficiency and qualification, harms all Americans who deserve flying with confidence”, read notes.

The memo stated: “All alleged DEI initiatives, including all dangerous preferred policies or practices, must be canceled immediately in favor of employing employees, enhancing them, and treating employees on the basis of individual ability, efficiency, achievement and dedication.”

Trump also canceled Biden on diversity initiatives, “racist stocks and support for deprived societies through the federal government,” which took place on his first day in his post in 2021.
