OpenAI Is Preparing to Launch a Social App for AI-Generated Videos

Openai is preparing To start an independent application of the Generation Ai Sora 2 model, I learned WIRED. It seems that the app, which features a vertical video with a move to scrolling to the paragraph, looks like Tiktok closely-with the exception of all the content created. There is a page for you – similar to a recommended algorithm. On the right side of the summary, the menu bar gives users an option to start, comment or reinforce the video.

Users can create videolips up to 10 seconds using the following video model from Openai, according to documents displayed by WIRED. There is no option to download photos or videos from the user’s camera roll or other applications.

Sora 2 app has the identity verification feature that allows users to confirm their likeness. If the user has verified his identity, they can use their semi -videos. Other users can also mark them and use their semi -clips. For example, someone can create a video of himself rolling the rotary ship in a recreational garden with a friend. Users will get a notification whenever their likeness is used – even if the clip remains in a draft and is never published, the sources say.

Openai launched the application internally last week. To date, it has been received greatly positive reactions from employees, according to the documents seen by WIRE. The employees used the tool frequently so that some managers joking might become a depletion of productivity.

Openai refused to comment.

It seems that Openai is betting that the Sora 2 application will allow people to interact with the video created by artificial intelligence in a way that mainly changes their technology experience-as it helped Chatgpt for users to achieve the text capabilities generated from artificial intelligence. The sources say that there is also a feeling that president Trump is in the foreground, outside the scope of the sale of American Tiktok operations, Openai gave a unique opportunity to launch a short-shaped video application-especially without close relations with China.

Openai officially launched a wall in December last year. Initially, people can only be accessed via a web page, but it is soon merged directly into the ChatGPT app. At that time, the model was among the most modern video generators of artificial intelligence, although Openai indicated that it had some restrictions. For example, he does not seem to understand physics completely and struggled to produce realistic scenes, especially in longer clips.

Openai’s Sora 2 will compete with new video shows of artificial intelligence from Tech’s giants such as Meta and Google. Last week, Meta introduced a new summary in the Meta Ai application called Pais, which is exclusively dedicated to creating and sharing short videos created from artificial intelligence. Earlier this month, Google announced that it merges a dedicated version of the latest video generation, VEO 3, in YouTube.

On the other hand, Tiktok has followed a more cautious approach to the content created by artificial intelligence. The video recently redefined its rules about the type of videos created from the artificial intelligence allowed on the statute. It is now explicitly prohibits the content resulting from artificial intelligence “misleading about public importance issues or harmful to individuals.”

Often, the Sora 2 application refuses to create videos due to copyright guarantees and other filters, the sources say. Openai is currently fighting a series of lawsuits due to the violation of alleged copyright, including a high -level case filed by the New York Times. Times Case focuses on allegations that Openai has trained its models on the copyright of the paper.

Openai also faces increasing criticism on child safety issues. On Monday, the company issued the new parents’ controls, including the parents ’option and adolescents to link their accounts. The company also said it is working on a age prediction tool that can automatically direct users who believe they are less than 18 years old to a more restricted version of Chatgpt that does not allow romantic interactions, among other things. It is not known what age restrictions can be combined into the Sora 2 app.
