£55,000-a-week Tottenham star now set to leave after internal dispute with Frank
Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has admitted he does not enjoy the challenge in north London, and the club are now set to bid farewell to one of their favorite players in January.
Tottenham head into Sunday’s Premier League clash against Sunderland with just one win in their last four games in the competition, and Frank is feeling the pressure.
“The short answer is no,” he said when asked if he enjoyed the challenge in north London. “But the truth is you can’t (enjoy), but when I take myself out of it and look down, I think what a learning it has been, and what a privilege to be in charge of this amazing club in what is such a transformative period.”
Tottenham could sign both ‘box-dominant’ Savinho worth £86m to transform attack
Tottenham are looking to strengthen their attacking line and are targeting these promising European talents.
“Someone told me we have changed eight leaders at the top of the club. The turnaround in 2025 has not happened this much in 140 years. There are a lot of changes but the potential is huge.
“I look forward to looking back and thinking, ‘Well, I learned a lot, but now I’m enjoying it.’”
“It’s definitely a marathon. It definitely feels like one of the heavy miles I’m doing right now, but keep it down and keep going.”
The absence of Dominic Solanke and James Maddison hampered Frank’s career, and it may have been a surprise to see Brennan Johnson join Crystal Palace in light of his lack of quality and depth in the attacking ranks.
The former Brentford boss has not hesitated to drop some players if they don’t fit his system, and another player who falls into that category is now set to leave.
Hill is unhappy with Frank and is preparing to leave Tottenham
In fact, according to reports in Türkiye, via Sport Witness, Galatasaray are looking to make a move for Matthijs Tille and Tottenham have decided to let him leave on loan.
The 20-year-old is unhappy that Frank has not started a Premier League match since October and has not featured at all in the last three games.
The club will now evaluate loan offers for the France Under-21 international, who is not one of Tottenham’s highest paid players on a £55,000-a-week salary, having joined from a similarly unfavorable role at Bayern Munich.

Till has scored crucial goals this season against Leeds and Manchester United, and the club will be forced to bring in a new striker having already lost Johnson, with Manchester City winger Savinho still a target.
