Yashavi Jaiswal almost slapped Dhruv Gurriel as the wicketkeeper-batsman was teasing the Mumbai lad

Indian youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Gurriel sparked a conversation online, as the two were seen arguing while leaving the Indore facility after the final training session before the series decider.

Yashavi Jaiswal, the left-handed batsman, was allegedly harassed by his India and Rajasthan Royals teammate Dhruv Gurriel over some issues that angered the Mumbai cricketer. He looked upset as he almost slapped his teammate.

However, Gurriel’s reactions were enough to prove that it was clearly a fun banter between two fellow athletes, with Gurriel dodging Jaiswal’s slap and a huge smile on his face as he boarded the team bus alongside his exasperated friend.

Both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel are waiting for a chance in the serial

However, these two extremely talented youngsters, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel, are awaiting their first opportunity in the series with just one match to go. None of these players are part of India’s T20 squad against New Zealand or the ICC T20 World Cup squad.

While Yashasvi played the last ODI series against South Africa and scored his maiden ODI century as well, Dhruv Jurel is yet to make his debut in the format. However, Gurriel was named as Rishabh Pant’s replacement after he was injured before the first match against New Zealand.

Gurel scored big runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, his best season for the Uttar Pradesh side. With two hundreds and four half-centuries in 7 matches, he became a must-select substitute and secured his place ahead of Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson.

Yashasvi Jaiswal will not return to Mumbai for the Ranji Trophy

Jaiswal, the left-handed batsman from India, will reportedly not be part of Mumbai’s second round of Ranji Trophy matches. Confirmed by Mumbai Cricket Association.

The 24-year-old will not be available for the remaining two matches in the second round of Ranji Trophy matches for Mumbai. The last time he played a Ranji match for Mumbai was against Rajasthan before the start of the ODI series against South Africa.

He then scored 67 and 156 runs in the two innings of the match against Rajasthan. After the New Zealand series, he will next feature in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals.
