Denmark Prime Minister Metty Frederksen Greenland will visit next week and meet the newly appointed leader on the island Jeans Friedrich Nielsen after US Vice president JD Vance claimed that Denmark neglects independent lands.

On Saturday, Danish officials prepared against American criticism, saying that America neglected Greenland’s security by expanding its military existence significantly in the Arctic.

Lars Lukik Rasmussen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, responded to the unacceptable visit of US Vice President to an American military base in Greenland on Friday by saying that Copenhagen was “open to criticism”, but “we do not appreciate the tone that is delivered-and this is not how you speak to your close jewelry.”

He added: “In 1945, the United States had 17 military rulers and installations in Greenland with thousands of soldiers. Today, only one American base was left … and something like 200 soldiers. We can do more, in the framework that we have today … let’s do so together.”

Donald Trump’s general desire to seize Greenland from Denmark has placed the future of the Arctic Island and 57,000 people in the geopolitical spotlight.

Fans, with US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Energy Minister Chris Wright, visited the Pittevik space base and accused Denmark of not doing “a good job by the people of Greenland.”

Greenland is a semi -independent region in the Kingdom of Denmark, but most of its population eventually wants independence from Copenhagen.

Danish officials, who revealed a $ 2 billion defense package after they admitted that they had not invested enough in Al -Jazeera security, took a cautious approach to Trump’s expansion demands. But last week it grew more assertive.

Rasmussen said that Verse also admitted that the United States has not invested enough in the Arctic. He said: “The truth is that we all reap peace profits. We all acted on the assumption that the Arctic was and should be a low tension area. But this time has ended. The current situation is not an option.”

Trump has argued that the United States had left Russia and China in regions such as the ice carback, where its largest geopolitical competitors are preparing to solve ice in the far north.

But the Danish and green officials felt terrified of his speech that “we must have” Greenland, and they refused to exclude the military power.

On Friday, Vans said he does not believe that “military power will be necessary at all,” in part, because Greenlands is expected to choose independence from Denmark and then a closer partnership with the United States. The vice president added that there are threats from China and Russia to Greenland, but experts said that the only general threat had come from the United States.

Denmark sent forces to fight alongside American soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq and its officials felt dismay for criticism from their nearest security ally. But they were also relieved that Vans did not escalate. One of them said, “I thought it was worse.”

Ferdrixen said that Vans’s criticism was not a “fair way to refer to Denmark”, which she described as a “good and strong ally” of the United States.

Under a large -scale defense agreement since 1951, the United States is allowed to establish military bases via Greenland as long as it does not affect the sovereignty of Denmark.

Greenlandic and Danicher officials have suggested several times in recent years to increase the United States from its military imprint, but America instead reduced its existence.

Greenland revealed a new broad government alliance on Friday. Nielsen Vans criticized the lack of respect by announcing his uninterrupted visit while government training talks were still taking place. A number of Danish ministers said they will visit soon, and now that a new government has been formed.
