Gov. DeSantis’s new DOGE task force gains momentum: ‘Turn the lens inward’

Local judicial authorities and public universities in Florida install the new Daiwi work squad at the state level, including through official decisions, independent committees and additional resources that support the new initiative.

Desantis announced the creation of “Florida Doug” in February, a program similar to a program led by the federal level by Elon Musk. Auditing intends to take advantage of artificial intelligence and other measures to detect hidden waste, review university and government colleges, spending, eliminate “extra” panels or commissions, and examine spending habits on entities. The initiative intends to ensure financial compliance with all the laws of the state, to provide recommendations and provide referrals to appropriate enforcement agencies when necessary.

The ruler then sent the official directive in March to various provinces and municipalities, as well as to public colleges and universities, and they asked to confirm their willingness to comply with the review. It also ordered the guidance to appoint an agent to be the basic point of contact throughout the initiative.

In response, some of the largest states and public institutions in Florida – such as the Hilzburo province, Jacksonville, and the University of Florida Atlantic – have indicated its willingness to comply with the audit. Their efforts include passing official decisions and establishing independent committees to support the ruler’s initiative.

“The completion of DOGE scrutiny is illogical when you think about the inefficiency that we have already stumbled-such as the forgotten old bank accounts that sit there with just millions of dollars,” said Joshua Austal, the Degence Commissioner of the Helporeo County, said when you think about the inefficiency that we have already stumbled-like the forgotten old bank accounts that are sitting there with only millions of dollars.

At Jacksonville, the city has established the “Duval Doge” work band that has already started to hold meetings and deal with tens of millions of dollars in capital improvement projects that have sat since 2023, according to WJXT 4 in Jacksonville. This week, the “Duval Doge” business group launched a website to track the work that is done through continuous scrutiny.

“Nobody can explain that.”

However, while the residents of Jacksonville were supporting this effort, others fell.

“Dog is a wrong and attractive designation, let’s see what we can take from the working class, the needy, the elderly. We do not need it.” The other population complained that “Duffal Dog” lacks adequate democratic representation and was just an attempt to gain political elites.

Diversity, fairness and integration initiatives in colleges and universities will also be part of the audit. The Ruler’s Work Squad aims to ensure that there are no governmental funds that support these programs, in line with a decision approved by the Education Council last year prohibiting this spending.

Florida Dog also plans to “cancel” 70 paintings and excessive committees throughout the state, in a press release in February of the Governor’s Office announced the new audits.

“It was Florida Dog before Dog is great,” Dyan Wright, spokesman for Disantes, told Fox News. “Over the past five years, Florida has canceled, during the reign of Governor Ron Desantis, dozens of unnecessary councils, raised unnecessary lists, and lowered spending. Florida has paid 41 % of our state debts, strengthened our economy, increased our rainy money by about 10 billion dollars-all without increasing taxes.”

Wostal said the new DOGE review was a better response than just raising taxes to pay for the necessary services.

“Instead of the knee response to raising taxes-put more pressure on the already extended families-it is time for the government to turn the lens inward,” he said.
