Montana governor urges firearms makers to ditch Colorado amid anti-gun push

First on the fox: Gop Montana GOV. Greg Gianforte is a video campaign to remind Colorado arms manufacturers that if they move a few hundred miles to the north, they can be free from one of the most bills of controlling restrictions in the country earlier this month in their mandate.

The new law, which is scheduled to enter into force in August 2026, is prohibited by the effectiveness of manufacturing, selling or buying semi-automatic firearms that accept separate magazines, which include most AR-15 and AK-47 rifles sold in the United States. Some tactical rifles and some chosen pistols will also be affected.
“Our second amendment is very clear. It says the right to keep weapons and will not violate weapons,” Jianfurt told Fox News Digital. “This draft law prohibits some of the most popular firearms used in sports and self -defense. It is a violation of the second amendment.”

Gianphport helped lead greater protection for arms owners and sellers in his mandate, including by making Montana a constitutional state and by approving a law prohibiting law enforcement from the enforcement of federal firearms ban or regulations that violate the rights of the second amendment to Americans to accommodate or transfer any firearms, magazine or magazine attachments.

Jianfurt estimated that officials moved away from the conference last year with about 10 possible new firearms companies interested in moving to Montana, while he said this year was closer to 30.
“We have more firearms and ammunition manufacturers today more than any other country for the individual,” it recommends Jiannfurt. “We are proudly defending the second amendment, not only for our firearms, but also for firearms and ammunition manufacturers.”
