Trump says US agriculture, beef producers to benefit from UK trade deal

President Donald Trump announced a trade agreement with the United Kingdom on Thursday, which he and White House officials described as strengthening the American agriculture industry, especially beef producers.
The deal will witness a decrease in the customs tariff in addition to the decrease in non -carrier barriers on a number of goods, including agricultural products, although the 10 % primary tariff rate that will remain the previously imposed Trump administration.
The White House said the deal will expand access to the US market in the United Kingdom by $ 5 billion, including $ 250 million for agricultural products such as beef. American and UK governments are also committed to enhancing access to industrial and agricultural markets.
“Its value cannot be reduced … how important this deal is and what this means for American farmers and livestock breeders,” said Agricultural Minister Brock Rollins. “Especially beef, this will significantly increase our cow meat exports. To be very clear, American beef is the safest, the best quality and crown jewel for American cultivation of the world.”

“The deal includes billions of dollars in increasing access to the markets for American exports, especially in agriculture, and increasing access to American beef, ethanol and all the products produced by great farmers,” Trump said.
“We have a lot of beef, we are a very big country, so it will be great,” the president added.
The British government said that there will be “arrival in mutual markets on beef” with British farmers who have obtained a tariff -free share for 13,000 metric tons.
The UK cuts some customs tariffs against us amid the Trump’s introductory war: “There is no country outside the hook.”

The National Society for the Well (NCBA) praised this announcement, describing it as a “huge victory for farmers and American family nannies.”
“For years, American livestock producers have seen the United Kingdom an ideal partner for trade. Between the history of our country, their culture, and their desire for high -quality American beef, securing a trade agreement is a natural step forward,” said Catman’s president, Catman, from Nebraska.

The United States and the United Kingdom indicated that they will continue to negotiate a broader trade agreement that would cover pharmaceutical products while reducing the remaining definitions imposed between the two countries.
