Workday gets contract from US agency behind DOGE staff cuts, no other bids

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Federal Human Resources Agency has given the billionaire efforts to Trump Consulting Elon Musk to reduce the federal workforce a contract for the new cloud -based human resources platform to the day of working without searching for bids from its competitors, which raised questions between the current and former employees of the agency.

The memorandum said: “The fragmented and old human resources systems from OPM have reached a critical failure point, which led to the errors of salary statements, the malfunctions of the benefits, and the burden of manual work that is no longer sustainable.”

Workday said in a statement that he “supervises the partnership with OPM” to update its human resources systems through a 12 -month contract for $ 342,200. OPM did not respond to the request to comment on the memo, which Washington reported on Wednesday.
