Trump tax and spending bill heads for House-wide vote after key committee win

President Donald Trump can go to vote at home level just on Wednesday night after his approval by a major committee at 8-4 votes.
The parliament’s Grandments Committee, the gatekeeper of most legislation, met before its arrival in the full chamber, at one o’clock on Wednesday morning to strengthen the huge draft law in a timely manner for the deadline for the memorial day of the spokesperson Mike Johnson to send it to the Senate.
The committee was postponed shortly before 11 pm, after the four Democrats voted on this procedure and voted all the current Republicans in his favor. Representative Chip Roy, R-TEXAS, was the only legislator who is absent from voting.
The procedures infiltrated for hours, as the Democrats in the committee have repeatedly replaced the Republicans repeatedly trying to transfer the draft law “in the hollow of the night” and try to raise the costs of the working class families at the expense of the wealthy.

Democratic lawmakers also made the operation with dozens of modifications that extended from Tuesday early to Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Republicans claimed that the draft law aims to strengthen small and low -income companies and families, while reducing waste, fraud and ill -treatment in the government safety network.
In a sign of high meeting classes, Johnson visited, R. La.
However, the committee started its meeting to strengthen the draft law with many major outstanding issues – the Blue Country Republics presses an increase in tax deduction covers and local tax, and the rules of the most striking work requirements for managers, in addition to a complete cancellation of the green energy benefits granted in the law to reduce inflation in the previous presidency (IRA).
A long -awaited amendment to the legislation aimed at reforming these issues appeared at about 9 pm on Wednesday evening.

The amendment will accelerate the implementation of Medicaid’s work requirements for some beneficiaries who have the able bodily from 2029 to December 2026, and the award countries that did not follow the expansion plans in the Obacare era with more federal dollars.
It will also end a set of green tax support by 2028 if it does not appear relatively quickly on investment.
Meanwhile, the Republican Democrats accused of trying to change the legislation in a hurry without appropriate notice.
Johnson told Fox News Digital on Wednesday 1 in the morning that he was “very close” from a deal with the republican party factions divided into the home.
Returning from this meeting, Johnson indicated that the House of Representatives will continue to vote either late on Wednesday or early on Thursday.
However, the approval of the legislation through the House of Representatives Rules Committee does not necessarily mean that it will happen well in a home level.

However, many of these financial hawks were more optimistic after a meeting at the White House with Trump and Johnson.

Reconciliation reduces the budget from the Senate threshold for passing from 60 votes to 51 votes, allowing the party in power to avoid the minority – in this case, Democrats – to pass the comprehensive pieces, provided that they deal with the federal budget, taxes or national debt.
Republicans in the House of Representatives hope to strengthen the Trump bill through the House of Representatives and the Senate by July 4.
