Here’s what happened this week during Trump’s 20th week in office

Mirz said Germany was ready to help with that, and he wanted to discuss partnership options with the United States to bring peace. Likewise, Mirz suggested that European allies were exercising additional pressure on Russia to end the conflict.

But Trump said that he told Putin in a recent invitation that he might need both countries to feel the consequences of fighting more severely, claiming that he told Putin, “Maybe you will have to continue fighting and suffering a lot.”

The call comes nearly a week after Trump condemned China on May 30 to violate a preliminary trade agreement by the United States and China in May. On Wednesday, Trump said Xi was “very difficult to make a deal” in a social publication.

Negotiations from May prompted both countries to agree that the United States will reduce its tariffs against Chinese imports from 145 % to 30 %, and China will decrease its tariff against American imports from 125 % to 10 %.
