Kennedy overhauls vaccine committee in hopes of restoring ‘public trust’

The Ministry of Health and Humanitarian Services rejected all members of the ACIP Consulting Committee (ACIP) on Monday.
The committee’s function was to make a decision and “make recommendations” related to the necessity and use of vaccines, according to HHS news statement.
All current members of the committee were presented under the administration of Biden, and 13 of them were placed in the committee last year. HHS said that it will take until 2028 to replace most members if they have served their full period.

HHS cited an executive by president Donald Trump, saying that there were changes in how the federal government played a role in science and health.
