The Browser Company launches its AI-first browser, Dia, in beta

Traditional web tools face an existential crisis as artificial intelligence products and tools are increasingly consumed by the market and money – from a wide range of products that people have used for years to interact with the Internet. At least, this seems that the browser believes it is happening.

Last year, the company decided to stop developing the famous web browser arc, admitting that although Arc was popular among the enthusiasts, it never reached its scope because it provided a very slope educational curve to reach collective adoption. Since then, the startup has been heading to develop a browser baked in Amnesty International at the heart of the browser. This browser, called DIA, is now available for use in beta, although you will need an invitation to try it.

Josh Miller, CEO of Al -Mistarie, recently admitted how people were using artificial intelligence tools for all types of tasks, and DIA is a reflection of that. By giving users the AI ​​interface inside the browser itself, where the majority of work takes place these days, the company hopes to slide the user’s flow and give people an easy way to use artificial intelligence, and go beyond the need to visit sites for tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claud.

In the foreground, DIA offers a clear interface. The browser depends on Chromium, the Google -backed source browser project, so it has a common appearance and appearance.

The feature of the marquee here is intelligence intelligence, of course. Besides allowing you to write the names of web sites and search conditions, the DIA URL works as an interface for AI Chatbot. BOT can search for the web for you, summarize the files you download, and can automatically switch between chat and search functions. Users can also ask questions about all the tabs that they open, and the robot can write a draft based on the contents of these tabs.

To set your preferences, all you have to do is talk to Chatbot to customize the tone of her voice and the style of writing and settings for coding. Through the subscription feature called the date, you can allow the browser to use seven days from your browsing date as a context for answering the information.

Another feature called skills allows you to build small excerpts from code that works as shortcuts in different settings. For example, you can ask the browser to create a reading design, and it will cord with you – think about Siri shortcuts, but for your browser.

Now, we have to note that the Chatbots groups in browsers are not a new feature at all. Many browser companies have combined artificial intelligence tools in their interfaces-for example, the Nion Opera allows Using AI’s agent to create small applications or complete tasks on their behalf, and Google also adds features working in Amnesty International to Chrome.

The browser says that all current ARC members will be able to access DIA immediately, and the current DIA users will be able to send invitations to other users.
