Apple’s Liquid Glass design is paving the way for AR glasses

At the Apple WWDC 2025 event, the company announced the change of the design of the most dramatic programs for more than a decade: liquid glass. This visual reform gives us a glimpse of what might come in Apple’s AR glasses, which will benefit the first time next year.

Users connect liquid glass to possible AR glasses because the new design is inspired by a strong inspiration from the Apple Pro VR headphone.

Liquid glass is named by the idea that each window on the phone resembles a part of the glass, a somewhat comfortable and vice versa. It gives the screen an elegant look, although the Apple is in its developer, Apple has not succeeded in facing playing with the orthopedic.

The Vision Pro was not a great commercial success – it cost it $ 3500, and unlike the computer, it is not something that has proven necessary for our lives. But however, the UX design for Vision Pro is impressive because it makes wearing headphones feel confused.

You can feel unnatural in indulging in virtual reality for a long period of time, so Apple has benefited from the possibilities of mixed reality through windows over the surroundings of the real world of the user, rather than an artificial background.

Apple may not be able to persuade people that they need 3 $ 3500 headphones, but to keep up with competitors such as Meta’s Ray-Bans and the renewed Google Try for Smart Escopes, Apple needs to enter the square of these light devices. One of the Apple strengths as a company – something that distinguishes it from Meta and Google – is that it is known for elegant and modern designs (except for “The Notch”).

According to reports from Mark Gorkman from Bloomberg, these glasses will contain cameras, microphones and sound amplifiers like their competitors. Siri-who is still waiting for a special transformation-will be integrated, and can help make phone calls, play music, live translation, and rotation trends. On the screen, users will be able to see notifications, photos and other passes.

If this is the case, the Apple will need to master the style of somewhat transparent design elements. If you are wearing an AR glasses and getting a form of notification, you may see this as something that mixes in your vicinity, and not a giant colored box that suddenly obscures your vision while wandering.
