European Commission president Ursula von der Lynne found some mutual understanding with President Donald Trump during the Group 7 conference, declaring “Donald’s right” on some commercial policies in China.

“When we focus our attention on the definitions between the partners, it turns our energy from the real challenge – which threatens all of us,” von der Lynne said during a meeting in the Group of Seven, which included Trump’s presence before his sudden departure to Washington, DC on Monday.

“On this point, Donald is right – there is a serious problem,” she added, referring to China to ignore global trade rules.

Von Der Leyen was referring to China’s restrictions on the exports of raw materials needed for cars, batteries and wind turbines, as the European Commission President accuses China of “arming” its ability to produce critical raw materials while disposing of competitors.

Specifically, China is restricting its permanent exports of the world in the world in April, when Trump has launched a mutual tariff plan aimed at achieving parity in the chronic trade deficit in the United States.

China has focused on “undermining intellectual property protection and massive support with the aim of controlling global manufacturing and supply chains. This is not a market competition – it is distorted with intent,” Von der Lin said, while a warning of a “new shock in China” while the country is overwhelmed global marketing with unnecessary supported products.

Von Der Leyen has previously exchanged Barbs with Trump, including trade in April, when it warned that “global markets are shaking through an unpredictable tariff policy for the US administration.”

Before the June summit in Canada, the European Union leader reported that she had a “good invitation” with Trump.

“A good invitation with President Trump before the Group of Seven Summit,” published at X Saturday. “We discussed the tense geopolitical situation in the Middle East as well as the need for close coordination on influencing energy markets. We also discussed the situation in Ukraine, the need to stop the shooting and the need to continue to pressure Russia. Finally, we have evaluated the ongoing commercial conversations. I have reaffirmed our commitment to reach a good deal on July 9.”

The statements of the European Union leader were made before Trump suddenly left the summit on Monday, a day after the meetings. The Group of Seven Summit, the first Trump at its second administration, started on Monday morning and will continue until Tuesday in the town of Takhji in Alberta, Canada.

Upon returning to the capital, Trump told the media that the European Union did not provide a fair commercial deal, adding, “They will either make a good deal, or that they will only pay everything we say they should pay.”

Trump had previously threatened to impose a tariff of up to 50 % on all European Union imports if a commercial deal was not reached by July.

The summit was expected to focus on trade, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, and tensions in the Middle East. However, the focus was on the exact focus on Israel and Iran after Israel launched preventive strikes in Iran on Thursday evening after the attempt, nuclear negotiations and the increasing anxiety were stopped that Iran was advancing on its nuclear program.

The two countries have continued to circulate deadly strikes since Trump suddenly finished his trip to Canada and returned to Washington, DC, while warning of the social truth, “Iran could not have a nuclear weapon. I said that over and over again! Everyone must evacuate Tehran immediately!”

When asked why Trump suddenly left the Group of Seven, he told the media on Tuesday, “I do not believe in phones,” adding that “being in the scene is much better.”

“We did everything I had to do in the Group of Seven. We had a good G7,” Trump added.

Trump is expected to present a report to the White House position room, where tensions between Israel and Iran are compatible.
