GOP lawmaker says Congress’ Israel support ‘bipartisan’ as Iran tensions rise

One of the main Republicans in the House of Representatives says Israel will continue to obtain support from the two parties from Congress, as its struggle with Iran is increasing in tensions in the Middle East.

“Yes, certainly,” said MP Mario Diaz-Polart, R-FLA.

“There is very very strong support, especially Republican support, for Israel, and I think again, what we see is that Israel is doing what they have to do to protect themselves from literally erasing them on the face of the planet.”

He also praised President Donald Trump as dealing with the volatile situation “brilliantly so far.”

“We’ll do what we were doing constantly, it is only, we will help Israel. If there is a need to do more, it is clear that you will see strong support, whether it is in the credits … or if we need a supplement, I think you will see strong support for the two parties.”
