Barcelona Gluten-free Food Tour – The Fitnessista

Share a summary of our experience with gluten -free food round.

Hello friends! How are you? I hope you will spend a great week. We enjoy returning home although we definitely miss our adventures in Spain. After 5 weeks in Europe, I definitely used to that life 😉

Something we learned during our trip: How much we liked Barcelona. This was our first time, and since the pilot was not able to reach part of the trip – there were in the last four days of our time there – we told us that we had to return.

The most prominent: gluten -free food round, led by DVIR.

As you know, comrades, we are the largest food lovers and we love to check new foods and restaurants locally and when we travel. I have been free of gluten for two years so far as part of my healing trip, and returning in January, we learned that P has a severe gluten allergy. While you are around the gluten -free mass for a period of time, P is still learning … and sometimes it is disassembled (concept) when there is no gluten -free option.

For Barcelona’s day, I have done some research on gluten -free options, and I discovered that Barcelona is a haven for gluten -free food options and that they enjoy a famous gluten -free tour. I fell on us immediately.

When he arrived today, P was pumped and I was about it. Lev was a good and excited sport to try some new foods.

Our guide, DVIR, was very cool. English (our 11 group was all Americans) and Celiac was for 40 years. He knew better than the best sites in Barcelona, and we took to six different places for gluten -free options. We had chocolate, jamun, ice cream on gluten -free cones, pizza, pastries, Empanas, it was great.

I loved how the tour was prepared. We walked all the time, and when we got to every spot, they had multiple samples until we try. At the pizza restaurant, our table had five full pizza from the best flavors. He gave us the opportunity to try many different things, and we were very full and happy in the end.

Although I do not want to destroy the surprises of the tour, here are the three best places we visited:

-Glossary for gluten -free.

Chicken and onions were everything … I will dream of amphanada until we return.

Look at this aspect. Pure joy.

– CØliaki bakery.

We have tried a variety of gluten -free pastries, including the Nutella, which liberates my soul. GF pastry is usually disappointing and these were light, delicious and completely gentle.

Messi Pizza.

Pizza is another thing that often disappoints in the world of gluten. It is usually a superficial, chewing and/or gentle crunchy. This was a real pizza and we got the experience of some amazing flavors. I also had the first beer in years !! I think he said they have 40 different types of gluten -free beer?!

If you are a celia or gluten -free for healthy reasons, or you like food and want to try new places, I can’t recommend this tour enough. It is directed that it is previously reserved, so reserve your place as soon as you know that you are going to Barcelona. The link here!

And only presidents, this is not sponsored by or anything like that and prompted happily in exchange for our participation. Just happy to publish the word!

So, tell me, friends: What is your favorite Foodie destination?

Gluten -free friends: What is gluten -free food or restaurant?

xoxo
