Trump says US would strike Iran again if nuclear program is rebuilt

president Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States will strike Iran again if the country tries to rebuild its nuclear program.

Trump made the statement during the exchange with correspondents while attending the NATO summit in the Netherlands on Wednesday. The United States has described a report from Israel stating that the strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities restore the country’s “many years” program.

One of the correspondents asked Trump if he would strike Iran again if it could be rebuilt his nuclear facilities.

“Certainly,” Trump’s explicit response came.

The exchange came after the Secretary -General of Mark Root in NATO Trump praised that he was a “powerful man” and a “peace man” during the Wednesday summit.

“I just want to get to know your decisive work on Iran,” Root said at the beginning of his joint notes with the president. “You are a powerful man, but you are also a peaceful man. The fact that you are now successful in accomplishing this ceasefire between Israel and Iran – I really want to praise that. I think this is important to the whole world.”

Roti also praised Trump’s effort to make NATO members pay more and said that the president was “flying to another great success” after all countries – with the exception of Spain – were spending 5 % of the gross domestic product on the defense. He added that Trump has achieved something “no American president for decades can do.”

Trump gathered Iran and Israel in a ceasefire on Tuesday, which was held until now after an unconfirmed start, which witnessed Trump’s frustration with the two countries.
