Andrew Como does not leak from the race for New York City.
The former New York State Governor Komo, who resigned from his post in 2021, has decided in multiple scandals, at the present time, to move forward and operate in the general elections as an independent candidate, two sources have been confirmed in favor of Fox News Thursday evening.
The Komo Declaration came two days after Zahran Mamdani gradually shocked the political world, as Como and the rest of the 11 candidate field in the Democratic Party mayor in New York City, Zarqa, took a big step towards becoming the first Muslim mayor in the country’s easier country.
Mamdani, a member of the 33 -year -old Social Democratic State, acquired Queens, who was originally transferred from Uganda, to 43.5 % of informal initial results, with Komo by 36.4 %.

While Intisar Mamdani in the preliminary elections acknowledged, Komo left the door open to November as an independent candidate, the rules of the elections in a statement of New York State.
“I want to look at all the numbers while they arrive and analyze the selection of the rank. I will then consult with my colleagues about what is my best way to help New York City, as I was already eligible to run for the mayor on an independent line in November,” Komo said in a statement earlier this week.
Cuomo was facing the end of Friday at the end of the day for the candidates who have already qualified to run as independents to decline the independent ballot line.
The former ruler will have already obtained his previous place this year the “fighting and delivery” ballot. But the sources said that Komo has not yet committed to managing an active general electoral campaign during the summer until the fall.
If Komo comes out of the race at a later time, his name will remain in the general voting of the elections.

Once long in the race, Mamdani closed the gap with Cuomo during the final extending of the primary race thanks to an active campaign partially focused on the high cost of living in New York City.
The Alexandria-Customer Alexandria-Credaye, the progressive rock star, the most prominent leader in New York City, helped the left, and the Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont, the progressive champion and democratic presidential candidate twice, Mamdani to unify many of the Democratic Party base in New York twice.
What does Mamdani victory mean the amazing primary for Democrats in the country
Mamdani benefited from the support of the younger voters and the first time to achieve himself in the first place.
“I will be the mayor of all New Yorker,” Mamdani said in the victory speech. “Whether I have voted for me, for the ruler Komo, or I was very disappointed by a long -broken political system to vote at all, I will fight for a city that suits you, which is accessible to everyone, and this is safe for you.”
Since none of the candidates lead 50 %, the technical count now is directed to rounds of elimination of the option in the rank. But the joint groups are likely to be the voices and other progressive candidates aligned more than enough to drop Komo with the start of tables in the option on July 1.
Komo, who saw the wall writing, admitted defeat and praised Mamdani with the flow of preliminary preliminary results on Tuesday, and the supporters told that “tonight is his night. He deserved it. He won.”
But Komo, in an interview on Wednesday with CBS New York, indicated that “in the general elections, more people go out to vote. It is a broader gathering, if you can, from the New York residents, a more representative complex for the residents of New York.”
The former ruler said: “There are about 5 million voters in New York City, there are about 8 million people in New York City, and about a million people vote in the democratic introductory elections. Therefore, it is not, necessarily, the representative of the city as a whole.”

A poll from a consultant and compressor group was issued with an external group that supports Komo on Thursday suggested to Mamdani and Cuomo linked to a possible public election match, with the current mayor Eric Adams-who is a democratic nominated for his re-election as an independent candidate-and Jumdah Al-Jamda.
Sliwa, founder of volunteer crime control patrols known as The Guardian Angels, is the Republican Party candidate for the second consecutive election session. This is also managed as a precedent federal federal Jim and Al -Den.
When asked whether Komo should leave the race, Mamdani said on Thursday in an interview with Fox News, a company in New York, that “I think there is room for everyone because, in the end, we will win it.”
Komo, 67, has spent the past four years of fighting to clarify his name after 11 accusations of sexual harassment, which he has repeatedly denied, forced his resignation. He was also under investigation at the time because of his dealings with the Covid-19 pandemic, amid allegations that his administration was greatly reduced by Covid’s deaths in government nursing homes.
Last month, the Ministry of Justice opened a criminal investigation in Komo after the Republicans accused him of lying to congress about the decisions he made as a ruler during the Koronaf virus.
Komo, thanks to the recognition of his names, was the first candidate in the polls even before he announced his candidacy earlier this year. But he managed a safe campaign based on the support of the Federation, and moved away from engaging often with local or national media.
Mamdani, at the same time, used smart media platforms, including Tiktok, where he participated in the main voters. He suggested getting rid of prices to ride the vast bus system in New York City, make Kony (New York City University) “free of tuition fees”, freeze rents on municipal housing, provide “free children’s care” for children until the age of five, and the establishment of government -run groceries.

“This is a city that is not socialist,” Adams said in the launch of his official campaign on the steps of the city hall.
“There is no dignity in someone who gives you everything free. There is dignity in giving you a job, so you can provide your family and the opportunities you deserve. This is not a city of flyers. This is a city of hands.”

The Adams poll numbers were drowned even before he accused him last year on five charges, which accused the mayor of bribery and fraud as part of the “long -term” scheme to take personal benefit from contacts with foreign officials.
The mayor was brilliantly brilliant to the president Donald Trump, The Ministry of Justice rejected earlier this year the concerns of corruption, so Adams can work with the Trump administration to the illegal immigration campaign.
In early April, he announced that it will be nominated for his re -election as independent preliminary elections and the abandonment of democracy.
