Fox Business Lauren Simoniti reports on the New York Democratic Democratic Plan Zahran Mamdani to address the higher rental prices in the sky.
Billionaire Bill Akman said on Thursday that he will support a candidate in the New York City mayor’s race to meet the nomination of the New York Association Council member Zahran Mamdani, a democratic socialist.
Mamdani is the supposed Democratic Party candidate for the New York City mayor’s race after he announced his victory over former New York Governor Andrew Como and City Brad Lander. He is also a member of the Social Democrats in America and the working families Party.
Mamdani ran on a platform that included economic policies that are in line with progressive and socialists in the Democratic Party, such as the minimum wage, tax increase on companies, rich policies and other policies, such as the establishment of city -owned grocery stores and the imposition of rental of rent for stable tenants.
Ackman wrote in a post on X that he was “very worried about New York City” after Mamdani’s clear victory and continued to ask “, who is your best candidate in the middle can go to the soles of the feet with Mamdani on the Campaign’s path and on the stage of discussion?

The founder of the billionaire at Pershing Square Capital Management said that the Mayory race in New York City represents a great opportunity for the candidate appropriate to defeat Mamdani.
“In my experience, opportunities with a minimum from the negative side that does not require huge investments of time while offering the huge upward trend. If you are considering running for positions, or running for an office higher than you currently carry, then this is likely to be the best opportunity you will get.”

Akman suggested that although he has a candidate in mind, he believes that he will be able to win over Mamdani and any of the other competitors in the municipal race, he is asking for suggestions because he does not want to support him for President Donald Trump to wave the viewer’s view of his potential candidate.
“All of the above is not just a theory, as I have a wonderful candidate that I think can win that fulfills all the criteria, but if I want to say his name or even communicate with him, he will have a negative impact on his candidacy, as I am a supporter of President Trump, and any alone, I recommend a member of the Democratic Party.

He also discussed the reason for his belief that Mamdani won, saying that he believed this is the inspiring tone, calling for unity and his ability to reduce the controversial social media posts from his past that helped him to prevail instead of the policy platform.
Akman added that “the competition was very weak,” and the best Mamdanian competitor failed to manage an aggressive campaign enough. Instead, he relied on admitting the name and early conjugation in an attempt to nominate.
“The problem is that his policies will be disastrous for New York City. Socialism has no place in the economic capital of our country,” Akman said.

“New York City’s ability to provide services to the poor and needy, not to mention the normal New Yorker, depends entirely that New York City is a business friendly environment and a place where the wealthy residents are ready to spend 183 days and take over the associated tax burden. Unfortunately, both of them have already started making threats to risks.”
