Gi-Hun’s Fate In The Squid Game Season 3 Finale Explained (Does He Die?)

This article contains Spoilers For “Squid Game” Season 3, Episode 6, “Humans …”

The “Squid game” ended in the third season, but the privilege will continue to continue in the foreseeable future. Series Creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk has ideas on cross while David Fincher has already works at the new “Squid game”, so there are a lot of pastel-colored deaths and stadium games on the horizon. Before we get it, though, there is one important issue for a settlement.

The show has always been about two things: the same game and Seong Gi-Hun (Lee Jun-Jae) attempts to survive and possibly overthrow it. It is clear that the differences in the game were able to bear as long as it made Netflix a profit, but how can Gi-Hun Fare on his mission? Was he able to survive the conclusion of the series to continue to liberate against the device in the future?

Unfortunately, no, Gi-Hun does not survive. Although one-time winner is one of the last two contestants in the final event of the game, the Sky Squid game ends with a dramatic landing until his death as a Lee Byung-Hun and notice the important characters.

After three seasons, Gi-Hun finally falls

On the final column of the Sky Squid game, only Gi-Hun, Jun-Hee’s (Jo Yu-RI), and the child’s father remains myung-Gi (IM Si-Wan). The three are active players, and one must die until the game ends.

Gi-Hun’s priority is the child’s protection, so he rushes to present his private life. However, Myung-Gi has survived this limit by being and finding and finds that it is impossible to believe that Gi-Hun will sacrifice himself. Things quickly escalated to a big battle between adult players, which ended each of them, a suspended life on the side of a column. Myung-Gi gets the initial deal here, holding a Gi-Hun jacket, which is torn and the younger contestant for his excuse. Just like this, Gi-Hun won the game and saved the child … or he will have, if this is not the fact that they did not press the button that starts the round yet. This gives him only one option: the tour begins and sacrifices himself.

The last Gi-Hun’s words are a copy of the letter “I am not a horse” from “one day lucky”, the conclusion of the first season. “We are not horses,” Gi-Hun begins. “We are human, and human beings …” stop, as if he was running out of words. Instead of finishing the speech, it allows himself to fall from the column, and back down in the abyss waiting. While viewers may tend to believe that the long protagonist who deceives the organization with a kind of trick at the last minute to get his hands on the front man and the goals, this is not what is happening at all. The death of Gi-Hun is very real, and the show later confirms this by cutting his dead body, eyes without life looking.

The big final confrontation in the squid game cards was not

Repeated and over, the “Al -Houka Game” shows that there are no winners in the dark show world. Even the former winners of the match, J-Hun and the front man, are shells without indifference who devote themselves to mono-thinking tasks: the first wants to believe in humanity and to drop the game, while the front man before his place as a gear that can be eliminated in the device and embraced deadly nihilism in the heart of the game.

Because this is far from the traditional situation with good men clear to the bad guys (regardless of the top games funding, who are absorbed but they cannot be premeditated mainly), it is appropriate that the show has never tried to confront the Gi-Hun and the people behind the game. You cannot tear such an organization with classic and serious asphalt, as much as Gi-Hun has been stored for this opportunity. Fortunately, the way things play for the character may work better.

By allowing a helpless child to become the winner, Gi-Hun breaks the “manners of the most opportunistic will” in the game Squid, proving the nihilistic frontal that is still good in humanity and winning the effectiveness of their long philosophical battle. Interestingly, the front man visits Los Angeles later to make sure the Gi-HUN family was provided, which Gi-Hun has specifically to the dead “Squid Game” loved ones. Possible cross operations in the future may reveal whether this is a sign that the Gi-Hun’s message finally reaches the front man … and if that leads to the shift of the game organizer one day, the death of Gi-Hun may have a greater effect than it had ever hoping.

“Houfa game” is now flowing at Netflix.
