Los Angeles and many of the cities surrounding the celebrations – or delay – celebrate the fourth of July in response to the increase in activity by federal immigration officials in the region.
The Los Angeles Province Department of Parks and Entertainment launched a series of summer films and concerts, while eliminating East Los Angeles Rocks on July 4 “with caution and in response to the recent ice enforcement activity.”
One of the largest events of the fourth city of July, which attracted thousands in 2024, was postponed, the Gloria Grand Park’s summer party, indefinitely due to “the ongoing conditions affecting the region.”
According to what was reported, other societies surrounding Los Angeles decided to cancel their fourth events in the light of the continuous federal immigration application in the region, including the cities of Bill Gardens, Boyle Heights, Kodhahi, Huntington Park, Whiter and El -Sirino.

In Huntington Park, the cancellation of the Fourth July holiday exceeds only a temporary stop for 30 days in “some public summer events”, according to a statement issued by the city.
“Reports on unlimited compounds and federal agents unknown are created widespread anxiety, especially among migrant and mixed families,” according to Huntington Park. “Many residents have expressed their fear and uncertainty, which led them to stay inside, refrain from work, and withdraw from daily public life. Our priority is and will still be the safety and comfort of our society.”
