‘This club is for winners only’

Defender Levy Collele sent a blatant message to Chelsea’s new signatures, and insisted that the club is “for the winners only”.

The Blues is preparing to face the Brazilian Palmeiras in the World Cup quarter -finals in Philadelphia on Saturday (UK time), but announced the signing of 60 million pounds for striker Joao Pedro from BRIGONON & Hove albion in a deal eight years on Wednesday.

The 23 -year -old Brazilian becomes the latest addition to the Enzo Marisca team after he has already secured the services of Liam Dilab, Dario Isogo and Mamado Saar this summer.

The Estevao Willian-teenage sensation, which is currently playing in Club World CuP CUP CUP CUP CUPARTETY, will join the club as soon as the tournament ends, while 20-year-old Jimmy Gitans is said to be about to finish moving to Stamford Bridge from Borussia Dortmund.

Collelan, who started 35 out of 38 games in the Premier League last season, and won his first international capsule in England in a friendly defeat last month of Senegal, issued a statement on the intention of those who come across the doors in Stamford Bridge.

“We all know how big in this club and how the club’s culture has always been to win. We are just trying to enhance that to young boys, to the coming boys, that this club is for the winners only. This is what we need to seek to achieve. This is what we want to do together.

“Anyone who comes to Chelsea knows the history of the club. They know they come here to win only. We have a great team and everyone is at the same wavelength to try to win.”

Chelsea raised the conference in May and will return to the Champions League next season after getting fourth in the Premier League.

Despite what many consider a successful campaign, the defender was explicit in his evaluation of his performance, saying, “I am not anywhere near the place I want” before what he calls a “huge season” for himself and the club.

“Defense for one V-One was difficult, but I think I have proven that I am a little improvement. I am sometimes good when I try to pass and there are other times I was a little lazy,” Colwill said.

“It will be a big season for me in Chelsea [next year]. We have also returned to the Champions League, which we plan to do as possible. Then we have the Premier League, where we want to go forward and do better than we did this season.

“For me, given the end of the season where we got the World Cup, it will be a big goal to be there.”
