Energy retirements threaten US power grid stability, DOE report finds

Energy Minister Chris Wright explains how the Trump administration is fast -tracking energy projects and proper nature to the regulations on devices on FOX works deeply: reactivating America.
On Monday, the Ministry of Energy of the Trump Administration (DOE) issued a report that currently found the retirement scheduled for energy -generating facilities as well as delay in bringing new energy sources online that may lead to an increase in the power outage by the end of this contract.
The Ministry of Energy report found that with about 104 GB of energy -generating capacity to retire by 2030, power outages can be increased significantly if this capacity is not replaced in a timely manner. It is estimated that the annual interruption hours may rise from one numbers today to more than 800 hours per year.
The agency noted that although 104 GB of power generation is scheduled to retire, it is scheduled to be replaced by 209 GB of its new energy by 2030 – although only 22 gigawatts from the sources of the buffer generation. He added that even with the assumption that there is no retirement, the risk of interruptions in some areas increases by more than 3 times.
“This report confirms what we already know: the United States cannot continue to continue the unstable and dangerous path of the submission of the energy followers, forcing the closure of the sources of Pasiloa’s force such as coal and natural gas,” Minister Scott Wright said in a statement.

The report said that the demand for electricity is partly due to the construction of intensive artificial intelligence data centers (AI), as well as advanced manufacturing facilities.
“In the coming years, the apostasy in America and the artificial intelligence race will require much larger supplies than a clock, reliable and unexpected power,” Wright said.
He added: “president Trump administration is obligated to provide a strategy to add energy and support all forms of energy at reasonable, reliable and safe prices.” “If we will keep the lights, win the artificial intelligence race, and maintain electricity prices from a height, the United States must launch US energy.”

The Ministry of Energy said that the pre -peak hour tests to assess the adequacy of energy resources “do not explain enough to depend on the neighboring networks.”
He added that “the modern methods of assessing the adequacy of resources need to integrate the frequency, the size and duration of the power outages, and exceed the exclusive analysis of the time periods of the peak pregnancy, and the development of integrated models to enable the appropriate analysis to increase dependence on neighboring networks.”

The Ministry of Energy report was produced in response to President Donald Trump’s executive order on “strengthening the reliability and security of the United States of the United States” and provides a methodology to determine the areas at risk as well as direct reliability interventions by the federal government.
