Japan warns China-Russia alliance poses greatest threat since WWII

The Japanese Ministry of Defense said in a new document that the joint operations between China and Russia along with the threats coming from North Korea are the greatest threat to the world order since World War II.
“The current global peace system is facing a serious challenge, and Japan finds itself in a strong security environment and the complexity of the post -war era,” Defense Minister General Nakatani said in the annual document. “The international community in the era of a new crisis, as it faces the biggest challenges since the end of World War II.”
He added that the world’s largest threat is concentrated in India and the Pacific, where Japan is located, and it is expected to get worse in the coming years.
Amidst questions about the role that Japan will play if the war between the United States and China erupted on Taiwan, the minister described the United States as “a major pillar of our national security policy, peace and stability rooms in the India and Pacific region.”

Jiang Ben, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense in China, said on Wednesday that Japan “has” strengthened “the threat of China” and is largely overlapped in internal affairs in China.
Pentagon Policy president Elberridge Colbey praised the report as an “important and clear strategic assessment.”
This report also comes days after Japan accused China of risking the utmost distance by moving its abnormally fighter planes from the intelligence collection plane in Tokyo. China accused Japan of flying near the Chinese spying airspace.
The newspaper said that the presence of Chinese warships off the coast of southwest Japan has doubled three times in the past three years, including in the water between Taiwan and the neighboring Japanese island.
Russia participated in joint activities with China, which involves aircraft and ships.
Meanwhile, North Korea is a “increasingly imminent threat” to Japanese security, after developed missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads to Japanese lands and cross -rockets that could reach the American homeland.

On the other hand, Japan continues to fortify its chains in the southwest of the island with long -range cruise missiles, including Tomahax in the United States.
The general military balance between China and Taiwan is “tending to be in favor of China”, according to the paper, and the defense capabilities in Taiwan are increasingly affected, especially with China’s development of anti -access/regions (A2/AD) and amphibious capabilities.

“There is increasing concern about China’s pursuit of unification through military activities from the gray region,” says the paper, referring to the additional offside tactics without widespread war.
