Stan Collymore criticises Marcus Rashford deal

Earlier this week, Marcus Rashford Man United to join Barcelona, La Liga champion, left a season -long loan, which includes an option to buy in the region 25 million pounds.

Rashford was one of the players who were allocated to leave Man United this summer, and although the plan was now criticism, he only joined Barcelona on loan – and more than that, the purchase option is much lower than the plan that Aston Villa had last season (40 million pounds).

In his exclusive column, Stan Colimore gave his reaction to Barcelona’s signature on Rashford, and how Man United came out of the negotiations.

“I think this Rashford deal is weak for Man United. For a player at the height of his career they sponsored to obtain £ 25 million if Barcelona bought it next summer, after he paid an absolute arm and a wage leg over the years, does not restore compensation at all.

“For the player, this is incredible. He had a poor last season in Man United, goes to Aston Villa.

“For Barcelona, what do they get? They get a player at a cheap price that will not be wage anywhere near the 300,000 pounds sign if they want to buy it permanently next summer. But they get the best in the deal, simply, because they will get a player to play it permanently.
