David Cote has obtained the former English Premier League referee on an eight -week comment by the Federation, and a mandatory educational program should attend face due to the comments he made about Jurgen Klopp, former president of Liverpool.
COOTE was charged in June after a video was distributed – which seemed to appear COOTE for degrading comments about Liverpool and their former manager Klopp – widely on social media in November 2024.

In an interview with Sun“I felt a deep feeling of disgrace during adolescence in particular. I did not go out to my parents until I was 21 years old. I did not go out to my friends until I was 25 years old.
“My sexual life is not the only reason that prompted me to be in this situation. But I do not tell an authentic story if I do not say that I am gay and that I have real conflicts dealing with hiding it.
“My feelings were hidden as a young reference and also hidden sexually – a good quality as a ruling but a terrible quality as a human being.
“This led me to a full path of behaviors.”
He added, “I have faced problems about my self -appreciation – and this is related to sexual citizenship.
“I have received unpleasant mistreatment during my career as a reference and the addition of my sexual life to that was really difficult.”
