Federal judge blocks Trump administration funding cuts to sanctuary cities

A federal judge spent on Friday that the Trump administration could not reduce funding to 34 cities and provinces in response to the policies of “haven” that limit cooperation with the implementation of federal immigration.

The American boycott judge, William Orrik, who previously issued an order to protect more than ten cities and other provinces, extended a preliminary judicial order that prevents the administration from withdrawing federal funds or adapting the use of funds to local judicial authorities.

The judge also prevented the administration from setting the conditions related to immigration on two grants.

Orik said that the only administration’s opposition to an extended judicial order was claiming that the first podium was a mistake after he resumed the first matter.

The administration has increased pressure on the states of the haven during the era of President Donald Trump’s collective deportation plan.

Trump has issued an executive order directing Public Prosecutor Bam Bondi and Minister of Internal Security Christie Nayyem to withhold federal funds from the Grand Communities. All federal agencies also cost ensuring that payments to government governments and local governments “do not incite the so -called” resort “policies that seek to protect illegal foreigners from deportation,” according to the Associated Press.

Several cities and provinces filed a lawsuit against the federal government, confirming that billions of dollars in funding were threatened. The Ministry of Justice has also filed a lawsuit against many cities, including New York and Los Angeles, for the sanctuary policies.

Orik said that Trump’s orders, and showed the “executive measures that made them”, a “forced threat” that was unconstitutional.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of National Security published a list of more than 500 protected states that the federal government decided to be unruly with the directives of the administration, adding that each of them would be officially notified.

The Ministry of National Security also said it would notify local communities if they may violate any federal criminal laws.

The menu was later removed from the DHS website after the department was realized that it included communities to support immigration policies in management, AP said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
