Democratic Socialists, senator Bernie Sanders, the first, and the Democratic Mayor’s candidate in New York City, Zahran Mamdani, joins the lack of few in the financial capital in the country.
“It is an honor for me to welcome the Senator Sanders in New York City while we fight greed, billionaires, and corrupt politicians responsible for the ability to bear costs.”
Mamdani’s victory was shocked in June not only the political establishment, but real estate and business leaders who lead the New York City economy. With the ability to withstand the central costs of Sanders and Mamadani platforms, both of them walked against inequality in American wealth.
“While the few and Donald Trump are trying to put their thumb on the scale of these elections, we focus on the laser on the population of New York who built this city, calling it home, and deserved a leader who will provide dignity for all,” he said, referring to the New York Times reports that President Donald Trump claimed against Mamdani’s campaign.
Trump called Mamdani “100 % communist madness”.

The White House did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital in relation to the report that Trump’s presentation of the presentation of current Mayor Eric Adams is a site in the Trump administration until he leaks from the race and hurts the possibilities of the Mamdani elections. Meanwhile, Trump and former governments Andrew Como denied discussing how Mamdani was defeated in November.

After the annual breakfast on the AFL-CIO on Monday, the Fox News Digital told Trump that “lead us towards tyranny, towards more income and wealth inequality in wealth and made the planet more dangerous.”
“No, billionaires should not be able to get rid of the lack of payment of their fair share of taxes while workers are crossed, in many cases,” Sanders said, urging Americans to the Union against Trump and bring it to more than 1 % only.

Sanders and Mamdani met in July when the late Mayer visited the country’s capital for breakfast in the digital campaign hosted by MP Alexandria Okasio Cortez, DN.Y.
Mamdani Sanders described it as “Brooklyn through” and crossed and said that he was an honor to meet “one of my heroes”, while Sanders said he was “very admired by the popular base of the base.”
Sanders was an early supporter of Mamdani’s initial campaign, along with OCASIO-Cortez. The duo caused a sensation in the “oligarchy fighting” tour earlier this year, as thousands of Democrats fired in gatherings throughout the United States who left without a clear party leader since destructive losses up and down in the poll in 2024.

While the Sanders tour looked “few” for a period of time, a glimmer of hope in a broken party, it seems that Mamdani’s sudden elementary victory this summer raised this democratic base in a new direction, albeit more progressive, and directed.
The mamdani campaign platform is with progressive ideas such as freezing rental, groceries run by the city, free buses, and increasing the minimum wage-and all of them plan to pay for them by raising taxes on companies and 1 %. Many of these ideas are in line with the democratic socialist agenda that Sanders pay for years.
Sanders said in a statement before the Brokelin town hall:
Sanders said that “the few” – or the leaders of the wealthy businesses with political influence – will “undermine democracy” and will not hesitate to “buy elections.”

“But the candidates who stand boldly with the working class – Will – can hit them. When we stand together, we can defeat tyranny and create an economy that works for all our people, not just the distinctive few,” said Sinator Vermont and former presidential candidate.
