Exclusively – The Republican Governor’s candidate in Ohio Vivek Ramaswami narrates support from a growing list of prominent donors who day supported Democrat Tim Ryan, a development that says his campaign says the main political transformation in Boki state.
According to Ramaswamy, approximately $ 220,000 is one of the contributions that were collected in the first months as a candidate from individuals before to Ryan, a former member of congress from Yongson who weighs a bid for the ruler. Ryan has not officially announced a ruler’s offer, and said that he would make a decision by the end of the year.
Fox News Digital learned that some of the most well -known business leaders in Youngstown and Northeast OHIO, a long part of the Ryan’s Donor Network, have now turned.
The Ramaswamy campaign highlights the names including Caryn and Sam Covelli, a major business leader in MAHONING Valley who gave the Republican candidate $ 10,000 after donating more than $ 59,000 to Ryan on multiple courses; Bruce Zoldman, a business leader in the Yongstown region, Ramasuami made $ 5,000 after contributing more than $ 53,000 to Ryan.

Another business leader, Adam Tomarius, presented $ 10,000 and hosts a campaign to raise the upcoming donations after contributing about $ 17,000 to Ryan. Anthony Mina contributed 10,000 dollars after donating about $ 25,000 to Ryan between 2005 and 2021, according to Ramasuami’s campaign. Regina Mitchell hosted a fundraising campaign and granted more than 13,600 dollars to Ramsuami after a contribution before 2700 dollars in Ryan in 2017.
Jeff Edwards, President and CEO of Edwards companies, installed construction products in the Columbus region, and his wife Lisa presented about 33,000 dollars to Ramsuami this course after contributing at $ 5800 to Ryan in 2022.
Jay Chapria, the chief strategy in Ramsuami, told the Fox News Digital that the donor movement revolves around the financing of campaigns. He said that Ohio who documented the traditional democratic leadership one day they adopt Ramaswami’s message about economic growth and new ideas after decades of disappointment. In his opinion, voters left behind a “tiring model” who did not provide and support a person representing prosperity and reform.
“It is very interesting as the people who donated Democrats, especially a person like Tim Ryan, were flowing to Vivek,” Chapria told Fox News Digital. “There is actually a movement where people are already moving not only to Republicans, but to Vivek specifically because it has a mission to grow such economic growth.”
He said that momentum is visible not only in financial reports but also in popular enthusiasm throughout the state.

“I think, like many people in Ohio who promised one thing under these institutions, and through institutions, I mean the people who have been repeatedly elected and did not surrender to people, and I think people come to know that another person has new ideas that they need to invest in instead of the old tired model that he did not offer to the state.”
The head of the Republican Party in Ohio Alex Tryantevilo chanted this point, describing the donors “impressive” and a sign of Ramasuami’s strength as a candidate. He said that the former supporters of Ryan see in Ramasuami a leader committed to workers, reformulate manufacturing, and strengthening energy independence in Ohio.
Triantafilou also confirmed the support of the early Republican Party of Ramaswamy in May – more than a year before the preliminary elections – as unprecedented. He said that he helped consolidate the coalition, which worked on the wilayat’s victories at the state level.
Fox News Digital has arrived at Ryan to comment.
After highlighting the defections of Ryan’s ranks, the Ramaswamy campaign also emphasizes its financial features. Ramsuami recorded a $ 9.7 million collection between February and June, whose team calls the largest amount that was ever collected by Ohio Governor’s candidate in the year before the general elections. Super PAC added another $ 17 million.

Shapria described this first report as the “ice tip” only, expecting that the following deposit will show a larger number.
Pictures of both strategies collect donations and turn the donor as part of a broader alliance that transcends traditional political lines. Shapria said that Ramaswami’s background in the field of commercial calls to the donors is because he understands their point of view, while his detailed political agenda shows that he is ready to rule without a sharp educational curve. He referred to priorities such as energy independence, improving Ohio schools and treating crime in cities as issues that hesitate with both young and adult donors.
“The crime in our cities – it’s horrific. It is something that Vivek wants to bring all leaders together to try to treat it already because people need to be safe in their homes. In very many places, they don’t feel this way,” Chapria told Fox News Digital. “I mean, Democrats, Republicans, independent, all need to feel safe in their homes, in their cities. So it is certainly not a party issue, but sometimes it becomes one. But Vikik, I think he will try to rise above it and try to bring all people and really listen to everyone and then try to provide real possible solutions to this issue.”

Triatafilou stressed that the Ramaswamy agenda has a wide appeal from the working class, citing his suggestions on manufacturing and education and eliminating the state’s income tax to make Ohio more competitive. He said that these ideas speak directly to the middle -class Ohio, including union workers, postal staff and delivery drivers, who can benefit from lower taxes and better economic conditions.
Change generations is also part of the message. In 40 years, Ramsuami represents a “new era of leadership,” said Triantafilou, on his interview with Rayan, who described him as a symbol of Democrats that focus on cultural discussions instead of the economic concerns of ordinary voters. He said that Ryan, who lost a race in the Senate in front of the JD Vance candidate at the present time in 2022, is “yesterday”, while Ramaswamy “tomorrow”.
Republicans are already examining the contrast if Ryan enters the ruler’s race. Triatafilou criticized him as “unrealistic”, accusing him of moderate situations in Ohio while voting with the left in Washington. He said that the Democrats are not a step with voters on cases ranging from crime to education, and he expected that Ryan would become outside, penetrate them and eventually defeat if he jumped.
“Tim Ryan is somewhat error in the Democratic Party,” Tryanfilo told Fox News Digital. “Tim Ryan will put a hunting jacket and be on TV, then go to the capital and vote with AOC and with the left of the party.”

Currently, the Ramaswamy campaign focuses on unifying early momentum. Events are scheduled to be identified in the fall, including a fundraising campaign in October hosted by Thomarios in Akron, where the campaign is working to expand its base via Columbus, Cinnatati, Toulido and beyond. By collecting standard donations, splits from the donor network in Rayan, and the support of the Early Republican Party, Republicans say Ramasuami put himself in the first stage in 2026.
