Charlie Kirk, shot dead at Utah university, leaves behind strong legacy of faith

“Jesus defeated death so that you can live,” wrote Charlie Kirk in one of his last posts at the end of last Saturday.

The founder of Turning Point Usa died after he was shot on Thursday at the University of Utah in Urim, Utah.

Kirk was an important figure who inspired hundreds of young students, and encouraged them not only in their political interests but also in the life of the leadership of faith.

He married former Miss Arizona, Erika Franzaf in May 2021. The two husbands have two children and a 3 -year -old daughter and a one -year -old son.

Turning Point focuses on a branch that focuses purely on faith, called TPUSA Faith, “devoted to enabling Christians to put their faith at work.”

The site says: “We are involved, equipping and empowering millions of Americans with gratitude who are ready to defend our rights that God gave, by giving them the tools necessary to expose lies and express the relationship between faith and freedom.”

Reverend Rob McCoy, co -chair of Turning Point Faith, Fox News Digital on Wednesday that Kirk described him as his saying, but prefers to be known as “his friend and the greatest fans.”

“He built everything with the power of the spoken word.”

“My friend Charlie Kirk was killed today by a coward,” McCoy said. “His life will be remembered for many great things – Charlie’s life will be remembered for many great things.”

McCoy said that he was traveling to be with the Kirk family at this difficult time.

“He built everything with the power of the spoken word,” McCoy said. “Violence was never used, but every day he was threatened with violence by those who were unable to face logic and truth – and now they did to my friend what evil is always doing. It takes away life.”

McCoy said, “Charlie did not die.” “Instead, he really lived. His life was secured by a sacrifice forever, Jesus Christ. This fact allowed Charlie to face every threat of courage because he did not fear death.”

McCoy added: “All evil knows is death, and they derive power from death. Charlie lived for life and will be remembered for this.

“Charlie lived for life and will be remembered for this.”

McCoy recently stepped down after 25 years in GodSpeak Calvary. Kirk was present at the ceremony.

“My church was the first church I invited to speak,” McCoy said in 2023.

“He didn’t think any church you wanted,” McCoy said.

American social media activist, conservative Rubuk Starbook Fox News, told Kirk that Kirk was an indelible man. Starbook said he knows him “a long time.”

Starbook said: “Aside from being a father, Charlie’s greatest achievement may speak about God for young people during a period that many of its achievement were afraid of doing that,” Starbook said.

“The result was a revival of the campus of universities throughout the country,” he said. “We are responsible for continuing to work now.”

The author and the former author of the University of Brager Will Witt for Fox News Digital on Thursday that Kirk will be missed by millions of people.

“Charlie was one of the most divine men I knew, and he had a bold and brave faith,” Witt said.

“The killing of Charlie Kirk in cold blood is an explanation of what Jesus said, that Satan is alive and works in the world today,” said Jeffris. “Jesus described Satan as a killer from the beginning. It is a thief who comes to kill, steal and destroy. We need to be clear in condemning this violence against Charlie Kerk.”

Jeffris said that the best way to honor Kirk is not to allow his death to silence or deter Christians in any way of “talking about the truth”.

“The Bible says that we need to talk about the truth in love, and Charlie Kirk did so. Can we follow its example?” Jeffres said. “If we do that, we honor his life. Let me say very quickly here for the believer like Charlie Kirk, we know where he is.”

“The Bible promises that when we miss the body, we are at home with Jesus Christ. One day, Charlie will be reunited forever in heaven,” Gives added.
