Former Chelsea star Pat Nevin has claimed that the young Blues striker Mark Gouio would be “disposed of” to be called from his loan in Sunderland.
The talented Spanish young man was loaned to Sunderland earlier in the summer after a lack of chances of playing the first team in Stamford Bridge.
However, Guiu then saw a very brief loan talisman as the Enzo Maresca team ended up making a sudden decision to remember it after Liam Delap was injured.
With Nicholas Jackson also leaving, joined Bayern Munich on loan, Chelsea suddenly found themselves at the forefront, so they decided to return Guyu.
Mark Guwio will be destroyed to return to Chelsea
Nevin certainly feels that Guiu will really disappointed because he could not stay in Sunderland, as he certainly had more opportunities to play regularly and develop his game.
Speaking to Betway about the return of Guiu to CFC, Nevin said: “It should have been disposed of, in fact, because I was seeing Sunderland this season and it appears to be a truly exciting side.
“He is a young team, and for Guiu, it was a great opportunity to get some games under his belt. He could have played a big role instead of getting out of the bench or starting with less feasible games, so I think he will be exposed to how he works.
On the other hand, he is the Chelsea player, and he is aware that he is still a young player developing.
“From talking to people in Chelsea, they really reside heavily and will become good for this football club.
“They thought that moving to Sunderland would be great for him and his development to form some experience in the Premier League.
“Chelsea has done so much over the years, and I think the club would have explained this to him in terms of his way to the first team.
“It may seem to have spoiled, but he will know that he is a Chelsea man. They have great hopes for him, and there is a lot of belief that he can do so, so in reality, there is an opportunity for him to return and admire.”
Guiu now hopes to have a chance in Chelsea this season, but in general, he is definitely a person who will look at a loan again in the near future, perhaps once Dilab returns from injury.
