Rep. Zinke urges political dialogue without violence after Charlie Kirk killing

Representative Ryan Zenk, R. Mont, said that the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was a “flat moment”, stressing that the Americans should be able to have political differences without engaging in violence.

Zinke made comments on Friday while appearing on the NewSnation “The Hill”, when he was martyred by previous statements by the governor of Utah Spencer Cox, as he expressed disappointment that the differences in political views led to violent attacks.

“We must look and think,” Zenk said on Friday. “This, as you know, as the ruler pointed out, a flat moment. Therefore, the moment of water gatherings depends on what this country does.”

“Are we going to continue?” Member of congress continued. “Will we continue not to be able to have a dialogue and talk to your neighbor?”

Kirk, co -founder of the 31 -year -old Turn Point USA, was assassinated by an armed man on the campus of the University of Utah Valley on Wednesday afternoon. He was transferred to the hospital in critical condition before clarifying his death later.

The alleged gunman was identified as 22 -year -old Tyler Robinson, whose family convinced himself to surrender after a multi -day chase.

During a press conference on Friday, Cox called for Al -Kiasah and to people on both sides of the political corridor to abolish the escalation, move away from political frustration and “choose a different path.”

“This is our moment: Do we escalate or find outside the slope? It is a choice,” Cox said.

“Over the past 48 hours, I was angry as I was ever, sad as I was ever … and while anger pushed me to the edge of the abyss, Charlie’s words were in fact what pushed me back.

Zinke similarly urged people to engage in political dialogue without turning into violence. He also said that the statements he watched on social media are “frustrated” after the recent cases of political violence this year.

“As you know, an assassination attempt,” Zenk said on Friday. “You see a political assassination in Minnesota. “

“In our country, strength, as you know, may agree or disagree, but the dispute should never lead to violence.”

Zenk referred to an accident in June and was directed by Vance Politer on charges of killing Melissa Hortmann, the former head of Minnesota, Democrat, her husband, Mark, and their dog at their home in Minneapolis.

Zeink’s office did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment.
