Meta AI glasses launch impacted by live demo failures on stage

The long -awaited experimental offer for Mark Zuckerberg was connected to the new Meta cups on Wednesday at The Connect 2025 Keynote, with defects in front of a crowded audience.

The price of the device, which is called Meta Ray-Ban, is 799 dollars, and has been placed as a leader in “AICEAC AI” that can be worn with digital auxiliaries who behave on behalf of users.

One of the audience members, Lance Holnov of Tech Radar, said that Zuckerberg’s offer includes some very big failure.

“Artificial intelligence was clearly confused and jumped around it,” Holanov said.

“The developers tell him that he never runs live experimental shows, and he continues to do so because when you are in a major word, there are thousands of people on the Wi-Fi network at the same time, which means that things may get worse.”

According to Ulanoff, other large technology companies do not offer live offers.

“Apple no longer offers live offers in others for this reason,” he said.

“Tim Cook has come out for two seconds, so perhaps a minute, then go behind the stage, and we watch a video in advance where they have full control.”

After failed attempts, Mankoso blamed Wi-Fi before throwing the part to Zuckerberg.

The second stumbling came during a presentation of the nerve band. Zuckerberg was successfully sent and received a text from Meta Cto Andrew Busworth.

But when Bosworth tried to start a WhatsApp video call, the glasses will not pick it up.

Zuckerberg floundered with the interface before surrender. Busworth finally walked on stage, joking about “Wi-Fi” as the audience laughed.

“You are doing these things like a hundred times, then you never know what will happen,” Zuckerberg said.

Despite the dysfunctions on the stage, Zuckerberg developed glasses as a jump forward in the Acting Personal Technology.

He emphasized that the devices represent the Meta vision for the future, where artificial intelligence assistants expect that needs and dealing with tasks with the minimum user efforts.

“Mark has enthusiasm, so he was ready to bear the risks, but unfortunately, in two cases, he did not go on his way,” Holanov added.

“I am sure that Mark Zuckerberg felt very uncomfortable, but I give him credit to keep him calm and make a joke about everything.”
