Kyle Rittenhouse reflects on Charlie Kirk friendship in exclusive interview

Exclusive: Kyle Rittenhouse talked with Fox News Digital Sunday about his friendship with Carlie Kirk, a bond that started in 2021, where he attended the huge memorial service of the conservative activist at State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
Rittenhouse – who was associated with KIRK for the first time while confronting the murder that made him a political lightning rod – said he immediately on vacation from work to sadness of the loss of the founder of Turning Point Usa.
“When Charlie was assassinated, I was at the lunch break,” Rithenhaus told Fox News Digital Sunday Morning. “I just got home to allow my dog out. I went to X, and the first video I saw was the killing of my friend.”

“I took the rest of the day. I took the rest of the week to work because Charlie me made a lot for me.”

Kirk was one of the most supporters in Rittenhaus. Rittenhouse brought “The Charlie Kirk Show” several times and appeared in multiple events organized by Turning Point Usa.
In December 2021, during the Turning Point Usa America’s conference in Phoenix, Kerk Rittenhouse told him that he was “millions of millions”, according to the Washington Post.

In 2024, Kirk threatened legal procedures after demonstrators faced Ritenhaus while he appeared at Memphis University, Newsweek said.
“How do you want to remember” less than 3 months before the killing
Since his acquittal of all charges in Kenwosha and Wisconsin, the shootings – he shot three men during riots in black life in 2020, leaving two dead – Rittenhouse kept to a large extent.

Rittenhouse is one of the thousands who attended the huge memorial service on Sunday for Kirk, who was fired on September 10, 2025, while speaking at the University of Utah Valley in Urim, Utah.
