Nearly 200,000 BMW owners told to park outside due to engine fire risk

Nearly 200,000 BMW owners are informed of standing abroad due to the danger of the fire that exists whether the cars are driven or not.

The danger, which was published by the National Road Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Friday, is dedicated to the owners of model years 2019-22.

The notification says: “The owners must stand outside the buildings and other vehicles so that they do not confirm either their car is subject to summons or treat their car.”

NHTSA said that deportation of the start of the engine may erode, which leads to a high temperature and a short circle, which increases the risk of fire.

NHTSA said that BMW traders will replace the start of the engine for free. Due to the availability of parts, the owners will start notifying the messages that are to be sent by mail on November 14. Another notification will be sent when the parts are available.
