Ford Tested Its Gen 2 NACS Adapter by Running It Over With an F-150

A year has passed since the possibility of EVS from Ford from an external side to the Tesla Supercharger network using free NACS shipping transformers. This week, the auto industry has doubled its commitment to North America’s charging system, adding that the NACS rapid charger is directed via Apple Maps in CarPlay and the NACS fast charging adapter from the second-generation for obtaining a PickAP F-150 and Mustang Mach-E. The new transformer is to be easier and more reliable for use.
In 2023, Ford was the first to flood from car manufacturers to announce support for the Tesla-Phillier Reed system in North America. A year later, he was the first to achieve the pledge by providing a free transformer to charge NACS to any owner who asked for one between February and June of 2024. And today, one year later, Ford achieved this initial commitment, and shipped about 140,000 supplementary transformers for reservation owners throughout the United States. According to the auto industry, their drivers use these wide -ranging transformers. Nearly 20 % of the Ford EV visits from the home happening at Tesla Supercharger stations.
NACS and Tesla Supercharger now appear as suggestions when planning for large trips via Apple Carplay.
Added the Blueoval TESLA V3 charger – the Ford database of compatible charging stations – is planted to 44,000 fast charging points throughout North America. Drivers can find those stations and move to those stations by moving on their car, and the FordPass application, and now, direct Apple Maps EV.
Just yesterday, Ford Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning gained the ability to include NACS fast charging stations on calculated trips via Apple EV in CarPlay. Apple Maps can now discover the Host EV charging status for when you will need to be connected and you can suggest the cash stop along the way, including the TESLA super charger, when planning longer trips. Suggested stops at NACS stations include a warning to bring you a fast charging adapter. However, since the Apple Carplay is separate from the basic EV systems, the pre -battery condition is not supported along with the direction of the Apple EV maps.

To test the new transformer, Ford and Lectron exposed to snow, water, influence, and even the crushing test below EV F-150 Lightning EV.
Today, Ford also announced a second -generation NACS transformer. The FOST CHARGING FOST Charging is said to be developed with EV Cashing Accessory Lectron, more powerful and reliable, able to stand on a wide range of climates, circumstances and violations that their owners may undergo over the age of the car-from snow to water out through an F-150 plane electric truck. The transformer contains a more comfortable and easier integrated handle in controlling the previous generation, in addition to the adoption of the new vehicles that prohibit the transplant by accidentally during the charging.
At a price of $ 200 upon request from the Ford website or service centers, the new Ford Fast Shipping adapter is slightly cheaper than its predecessor of $ 230 – and given the experience of Lectron in building a transformer and shipment, I also bet in stock.
