Ford reveals its Ford Heritage Fleet

Ford Motor Co. On Wednesday, her Ford Heritage fleet is important in the history of the 120 -year -old company.

The Michigan car manufacturer has collected the headquarters of about 500 vehicles in total, with the inclusion of about 175 cars in the American heritage fleet.

Ford said that the vehicles in the Ford fleet are a heritage highlighting various achievements, technological progress and production standards that the company had over the years and will also provide visions and inspiration for the development of future vehicles.

Ted Ryan, the director of archives and heritage brand at Ford, told Fox Business in an interview with his team, “He got the direction from the senior management to start collecting Ford Heritage Fleet all over the world” more than a year ago.

“We had a couple that we already knew. Ford from England had 150 cars. Ford from Germany, 100. So we knew that these were there, and they were activated in various ways, but we had no active fleet in the United States,” he said.

“They have not been organized, recovered, and restored …”, different groups such as Development and Ford Performance have retained vehicles over the years. “But they were not systematically organized, preserved and restored … so during the past year, we followed about 175 vehicles in the United States from a variety of different partners.”

Ryan said that some of the broad Ford Heritage fleet will be at the new product development center and the company’s headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, with plans to “activate” cars for family days in assembly factories throughout the country.

In general, “the idea is to take what is the heritage fleet in the first place and not to look back in 120 years of history, but to find a way to use it to move forward” for future vehicles.

There are also some “really wonderful” performance cars and multiple experimental vehicles, among other things, according to Ryan.
