The Indian team has a good mix of youth and experience and, most importantly, won a multi-nation tournament when it last played ODI cricket in March this year and wants to regain the momentum.

India will open the batting with Shaunman Gill and Rohit Sharma, both of whom will look to get off to a good start for the team.

Besides laying a platform, both Shubman and Rohit will hope to get some runs under their belt as well to gain confidence for the upcoming matches.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundae, who bowl fast and versatile spinners in place of Hardik Pandya and Ravibdra Jadeja respectively, do not have much experience playing limited overs cricket in Australia.
