Connections: SPORTS Edition offers some fun groups today. I laughed at the purple category, which mixes some words of knowledge with phrases with mathematical meanings. Read on to get hints and answers.

Connections: Edition SPORTS outside Beta now, as it first appeared in Super Bowl Sunday, February 9. This is a sign that the game has gained enough loyal players that the sports journalism website based on The Times will continue to publish it. It does not appear in the NYT Games app but it now appears in the private ATHLETIC app. Or you can continue to run it for free online.
