Could Logan And Jake Paul Turn Their Mom Into The Next Donna Kelce?

From Vine to YouTube to the biggest theaters in the world, Logan and Jake Paul I’ve seen it all. However, their mother, Pam Stepnick, has loftier aspirations for her outspoken sons. In a new interview, Stepnik, 62, spoke about Jake’s recent bout against heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, and revealed how afraid she was that the former Disney Channel star would suffer a serious injury. Elsewhere, Stepnik revealed her biggest hopes for her children, which relate to politics or perhaps turning her into the next Donna Kelsey.

Speaking with Page Six, Stepnick admitted she was concerned that her son Jake, 28, “stopped too much” before taking the ring for his last boxing match, which aired on Netflix on December 19. According to the mother of two, Jake’s seizure left her “on my knees”, praying for her son’s safety.

While Jake left the bout with a broken jaw and his first-ever knockout loss, his injuries could have been much worse, as he outlasted the boxing legend for the first five rounds before receiving a powerful right blow in the sixth. After the bout, Joshua spoke to reporters and showed his respect to the media personality, adding: “Jake did a good job throughout the bout… but the fight is not only physical, it is also psychological.”

He continued: “I said to Jake, ‘What’s going to happen is I’m going to see a time where I’m going to take your soul, and you’re either going to give up or be fired.’

During an appearance on Logan’s podcast, “Impaulsive,” Jake told his brother that he was grateful for the experience of fighting against such a tough opponent, describing his knockout as “mental” rather than technical. “He was imposing his will on me, he was huge, and the big shots were landing, and it was downhill from there,” he said.

According to Jake, if he had trained the way he hoped, things might have turned out much differently for him. “I wish I had more than three weeks to prepare and gain more muscle,” he said. “Sit there and hit him. I had to go to altitude for training, and that was the biggest mistake I made.”

Weeks before the competition, Jake showed great confidence, promising viewers something they had never seen before. He said: “When I beat Anthony Joshua, all doubts disappeared, and no one can deprive me of the opportunity to fight for a world title.” “To all the haters, this is what you wanted.”

While Jake’s new boxing career and Logan’s stint in WWE keep them busy enough, rumors have been circulating for some time that the two might enter politics. While their mother can’t confirm or deny the suggestions, she has implied that she would be more than willing to join Paul’s campaign.

“I can see that… president Paul, or Secretary Paul, the Secretary of Defense – I don’t know if I would wish that on anyone!” I laughed. “But I know they are preparing for it [life outside the ring] As we speak, we are building other companies that they are involved in.”

And if the policy doesn’t work out, could Logan and Jake become owners of an NFL team in the future? Stepnik certainly hopes so.

“I personally envision them buying a sports team like soccer,” she said. “That’s my goal. Then I’ll be able to attend all the football games that I missed when they didn’t go to college! I’d like to be like Mama Kelsey,” she added, referring to Donna Kelsey, the mother of NFL players Travis and Jason.
