After Tesla’s Earnings Slide, Pressure’s On for Cybercab

Earlier this year, Musk told investors that Tesla would launch independent driving technology in Austin and California this year, with the launch of a roboti service in Texas in June. (The service is scheduled to be launched using the Y Model instead of Cybercabs.) Tesla has since obtained a permit to operate taxi service from drivers in California, although it will need to apply for this other service to run this service without drivers behind the wheel. I entered talks with the city of Palo Alto, where its headquarters are located, to ultimately provide a ride service, according to emails obtained through the public records that WIRED requested. (Because of the least striking regulations of Texas, the car maker does not need additional permits or government registration to operate a driver without a driver in Austin.)
The success of Cybercab, which is scheduled to enter into production in 2026, is especially important because Tesla does not seem to have many other car projects on the horizon. The “Full Driving” Tesla feature is available on all its American cars for an additional fee, but the company warns that drivers still have to pay attention to the road while using their technology. However, the company confirmed that it will jump than this self -ruling “Level 2” less progressive to the non -supervision leadership.

Musk said he will continue to talk to the president about the policy of customs tariffs. He said: “I will continue to defend low definitions instead of the higher definitions, but that’s all I can do.”
