Saliba and Saka contracts, Martinelli future

What next to the signature of Gabriel Martinelli after the signing of Eberechi Eze?
It is clear that there is a lot of talking about Gabriel Martinelli recently, given his calm start of the season and the arrival of Eberechi Eze.
Martinelli has been the basic pillar of Michael Arta over the past few years, but there is no doubt that his place in the team is being threatened as it was at all.
There is a dangerous competition on the left side now, and Martinelli’s conflicts for consistency have witnessed a significant decrease in the past two seasons in terms of his level of contributions.
The goals have dried up, and now it seems like a player who really lacks belief and confidence, which was very clear with his performance in Liverpool before the international break.
Many fans believe that an upgrade is needed to the left of the attack, and although EZE is a different profile for the player to Martinelli, this left position definitely looks best for him to the eleventh.
This is a great season for Martinelli, and it is a season that is pivotal in terms of where his future may lie.
There was a talk about his departure in the summer, but I don’t think this would really happen. It was possible for Arsenal’s great offer to consider the sales process and never arrived.
There was some attention from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but this is as much as things went and I do not think this was a step that would care about Martinelli at this stage of his career.
I think Arsenal’s position on a potential sale can turn next summer, especially if Martinelli has another largely frustrating season.
Two years of his deal will remain at that stage and with Arsenal’s need to make some sales in the near future, the Brazilian can find himself at the forefront of that waiting list.
Arsenal plan to accelerate the contract talks with Star Dio
With the transfer window now, Arsenal’s priority is to accelerate the contract talks with Bocao Saka and William Saliba.
Andrea Berta has done a good job when it comes to renovations since his arrival as a sports director, with Gabriel Majalb, Ethan Nawanry and Miles Lewis-Skili all new deals in the long term.
But it can be said that the most important renovations have not been agreed yet, with both Saka and Saliba now in the last two years of their current contracts.
The talks were continuing for a while now with both the players and Arsenal, who are sure that the discussions are going well and that both will commit his future in North London.
I could not say with certainty when these deals would be agreed upon, because they were complicated and both Saka and Saliba were in the last year of their previous deals before they put the pen on paper in 2023.
Hope in Arsenal is that the lack of negotiation will continue as long as this time and the noise around Saka is definitely very positive.
Berta has had a lot on his plate since his arrival, but now he has some time to work really on both renovations and Arsenal, who are sure that there will be progress soon.
Can Michael Mirino repeat the shape of Spain for Larsenal?
He caught the attention of many arsenal players during the international break, but not more than Mikel Merino.
What is an exceptional trilogy that was for Spain in its 6-0 victory in Türkiye. All finishes were excellent and offered its impressive ability to find the network when it was in and around the penalty area.
We clearly saw it last season when he played the role of a temporary strike in Arsenal and this was just another example of a clinical when he got a goal.
I think he is a player who underestimates him and gets a lot of unfair criticism. Many people consider him a mistake as a defensive player and we saw this in the reaction to his inclusion at the beginning of the eleventh in Anfield before the international break.
Like others, I preferred to see someone like Eberechi Eze begins on that day against Liverpool. Mirino played with Diklan Rice and Martin Zobende, she felt a conservative option in terms of creativity from the midfield, but there is no doubt that he provides a serious threat to the goal. It is very composed when he gets sniff from an opportunity.
I think the biggest problem with him when it comes to Arsenal is that he is still not completely clear the type of player he is when it comes to Mikel Arteta.
When it is chosen in the midfield, we rarely see it drifting to the type of space that allows him to obtain a kind of opportunities that we have seen ending well against Türkiye.
So if Arteta wants to get the best, he must find a role that gives him more freedom in the box and around him.
Realistically, although I do not see this really happens unless it is used as a striker, which is why I do not see from ever that Mirino is a regular start in this team if everyone is fit.
He will get many minutes because Arteta holds it strongly, but with the exception of a group of injuries, I do not see him starting with many games, and certainly in the league anyway.
But he is a truly useful team player and I do not think we saw the last of him playing at the forefront in Arsenal. It can be a really good option when needed.
Mosira Crishian is worth running on the side while William Saliba is outside
Of course it is a blow to be without William Saliba. He is one of the best central back in the world and is part of, in my opinion, however, the best partnership in the world.
So you want it fit and available all the time, especially at this stage of the season when Arsenal has some difficult early matches to move.
I have seen reports from France about a potential absence for 3-4 weeks due to the ankle problem that I picked up against Liverpool, but this is not something that I have confirmed to me yet, so I am still not sure if this time frame is correct.
So we will see what is happening and the extent of its recovery speed. There is no doubt that Mikel Artita will be asked about the situation in the press conference on Friday.
The main thing for Arsenal if they should be without Saliba, is that they have a lot of strength in defense to the point that they gave themselves the best possible opportunity to be able to overcome this important player.
Crisitian may be a young man, but he has a lot of experience at the highest level and we saw when he came in Anseld how impressive defender. He dealt with this situation well exceptionally, and to be honest that he barely put a mistake since his arrival at the club.
I think that if Saliba misses the next few games, it will be a drunkenness that replaces him. This is what was signed and showed ARTETA in ANFILD that he has a complete belief in the former Valencia man.
There are other options, of course. Hope is for Ben White to return from his injury this week against Nottingham Forest and he can play there, as well as Gorian Timber, with white play in the right back. You can even play Riccardo Calafiori there if the need should.
But I do not see that happening. Musura has already shown his ability since his arrival in the summer, and I am sure that Arteta will be happy to give him a tour of the side alongside a leader like Gabriel.
