Alaska Airlines, Disney Parks Blog announce new aircraft taking to the skies

Alaska Airlines revealed its latest planes, titled Disneyland Resort, before celebrating the seventieth anniversary in the park that kicks off next month.
The Boeing 737-800 is called “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer”. The airline said in a media statement that the ninth aircraft bearing the title of the airline in Disneyland, but it is the first to include the Princess of Disney.
The New Lvery first moved to the sky from Portland International Airport, Santa Anna, California. Alaska Airlines said his design is constructed by “The Princess and the Frog” from Walt Disney Animation Studios and The Water Residence in the park, and artists took more than 2000 hours to paint.
“This plane embodies the love of Princess Tiana for exploration and adventure, inspiring our guests to embrace new capabilities and create memories all the way,” Eric Edge, Vice -president of the Brand and Marketing of Alyasa Air Company, said in a statement.

The Disney Parks Blog said that the plane specially drawn would fly the Alaska air line for the next few years. Kids Onoard will have the option to buy a special snack pack on the plane that starts this summer.
It joins others such as “Mickey’s Toontown Express”, “Star Wars Transport to Disneyland Resort” and “Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort”, in the Airlines fleet in Alaska.

The celebration begins at the Disneyland Resort on May 16 and will continue during the summer of 2026.
“While the Disneyland Resort is preparing to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of its founding, this last addition honors our heritage and looks forward to a bright future with the leadership of Princess Tiana the road,” Sibel Kom, Vice President of the Marketing and Commercial Strategy in Risneyland, said in a statement.
