Former New York Governor Andrew Komo, who nominates the mayor of New York City, met the pastor pastor on Friday.

Como shared a photo of the meeting at New York City Restaurant on social media, where he wrote, “The wonderful breakfast that is chasing with my old friend, Real_sharpton.”

Sharbaton also shared his photo on his social media, saying that they had a “breakfast meeting”, and that the democratic candidate and the front man of the mayor, Zahran Mamdani-who is known as a democratic socialist-will be in his presentation in MSNBC “politics” this week.

The New York Post reported that Komo was likely to communicate with Sharbaton, the political influencer for support, saying that the former ruler – who resigned in 2021 amid allegations of sexual misconduct – asked a civil rights activist “to have an open mind” about the race.

“I am very admired by Mamdani, but I knew Andrew for 40 years, and I return to the eighties with his father,” Sharbaton told the newspaper “The Post”, referring to former state governor Mario Como.

This meeting comes at a time when the current Democratic Mayor Eric Adams, who came out of the democratic primaries and is being operated as an independent, is thinking about leaving the race to obtain a possible work offer in the Trump administration. Adams has denied planning for leakage.

Trump says Komo got a “good shot” to strike Mamdani in the mayor of New York City

A survey conducted by the last Sienna College Mamdani before his opponents showed double numbers with 44 % support, 25 % for Cuomo, 12 % for Republican candidate Cortis Salwa and 7 % for Adams.

Sharbaton had previously called on Komo to get out of the race after Mamdani hit him in the democratic preliminary elections.

“I think, in the interest of Andrew Como, he should be allowed to be allowed to the individual race,” he said, referring to Mamdani and Adams during an interview with MSNBC in MSNBC. “He can support one or another, and let them fight a battle about what is better for New York.”

“The ruler Como and the priest Sharbaton stood side by side for decades, fighting for justice and progress. They meet from time to time for breakfast to discuss the critical issues of the city, the state and the state. Today’s meeting was fruitful and positive,” Komo spokesman Rich Azobardi told The Post newspaper.
