On Monday, January 12, TMZ published an exclusive report that the outlet caught Anthony Anderson and Roxy Diaz leaving a Golden Globes after-party on Sunday, January 11. Furthermore, journalists captured snapshots of the couple, with one of them asking: “Are you guys officially dating?”
In turn, Diaz immediately let out a chuckle while Anderson asserted:
“She’s my companion for the evening.”
At that point, the pair continued walking down the street — Diaz’s hand in Anderson’s — while he continued to say they were “going back.”
“Almost twenty years,” Anderson added.
When asked how his relationship with Diaz developed, the comedian said that “friends are always friends.”
