Anthropic launches a voice mode for Claude

Antarbur has begun to launch a “audio position” for chatbot Claud applications.

The audio situation (at beta at the present time) allows Claude users for mobile phone applications to have “full conversations with Claude”, and will reach the English language during the next few weeks, according to the official account of anthropology on X and updated documents on the company’s website.

At least one user in X reports that managed to reach the audio situation late on Tuesday. By default, it is played by the Claude Sony 4 model.

“Sound mode … enables you to speak to Claude and hear responses through the sound, which makes it easier to use Claude when your hands are busy but your mind is not,” read the support page. “The audio situation turns into how you interact with Claude through … display the main points on the screen as Claude talks [and] Let you speak to Claude and hear Claude’s voice responses. “

A number of artificial intelligence companies, including Openai, provide audio chat experiences for their chat experiences. Google, for example, has a Gemini Live, while Xai has a Grok sound mode. Each of them allows users to interact with robots by speaking instead of writing, and making conversations feel more natural and intuitive.

With the flavor of the audio mode of anthropology, users can chat about things like documents and pictures, and choose from five distinct audio options. Users can also switch between text and sound during flying, viewing a copy and summary after conversations.

The ability has certain limits. Voice conversations towards regular use caps-Antarubor says 20-30 conversations are what most free users can expect. Moreover, only paid subscribers can take advantage of the Google Working Space Communication that allows the audio position to reach Google Calendar dates and Gmail emails (the integration of Google Documents exclusively for Claude Enterprise plans).

The CPO Mike Krieger Anthropier confirmed that the company was working on the audio capabilities of Claude in an interview with The Financial Times in early March. According to the report, Antarubor had conversations with Amazon, investor and main partner of the company, and the beginning of an Amnesty International, which focuses on sound, is likely to push the future sound features Claude.

It is not clear which of these partnerships, if any, began in fruits.
